My vision
Since child, I dreamed of travelling: to cross borders, to encounter different cultures, and to discover the many ways of seeing and understanding life. Today, I am grateful that, somehow, this dream became my reality.
But living between countries and cultures also means living between diverse worlds. I often felt I was from nowhere, belonging nowhere. It was through theatre that I found a ground to stand, a home, and my own language. A place where I did not need to belong to one place or another, but in the betweens. Theatre became then another kind of travelling: one with no final destination, where each day is an opportunity to learn, experience and dream.
And in a world that moves faster and faster, I dream of a slow theatre. In a world filled with fear and anxiety, I dream of a theatre where we can slow down, breathe deeply, and connect to our inner truth.
For this, my practice moves between Western theatre and my exploration of Noh. I am drawn to Noh for its stillness and precision, its power of restraint, and its profound relationship with presence and time.
Perhaps, beneath everything, this is what I am searching for: a place where we can pause long enough to feel ourselves again. A space to contemplate our dreams.
